Eliza Atkins is 63 years young and a Piha resident for 35 years. She built her home with her partner and brought up three kids and have made many friends, some who have left Piha and others who stayed. She didn’t expect any of the events that enfolded. Actually quite damn angry to be put in this position and ready to lighten her load so she is now sharing her story. She still lives in Piha with her dogs, cats and parrots.
Elizabeth still loves Piha and what it has to offer, black sands, amazing surf, waterfalls and bushwalks and has no intention of leaving. Piha is good, great even, but with a
few bad eggs that need scrambling.
